About the role
Alpha Consultants is hiring an experienced Python health data engineer for a six-month, extendable remote contract.

Key responsibilities
- Design healthcare ETL and ELT pipelines using advanced Python and SQL.
- Transform EHR and EMR source data into OMOP CDM with documented lineage.
- Build data-quality, validation and patient-identity resolution controls.
- Collaborate across healthcare, data engineering and governance stakeholders.

What we are looking for
- Eight or more years of experience with advanced Python and SQL.
- At least five years of healthcare or hospital EHR and EMR experience.
- Hands-on OMOP CDM, ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, HL7 or FHIR exposure.
- Experience with PySpark or pandas and enterprise data-pipeline delivery.
